We have submitted the permit to the DNR requesting authorization to stock 1,482 lb. of 8″ walleye. (About 10,374 8″ fish) These fish should be swimming in Lake Minnetonka before ice gets here!!!
The DNR’s next scheduled Lake Minnetonka stocking will be 6,446 lb. of 4″ walleye fingerlings (96,700 or more fish) in fall 2014.
That means the Westonka Walleye Program is adding an additional 23% more pounds, or 11% more fish to Lake Minnetonka in 2014 on top of the DNR efforts!
